Tim Watters, P&Z Chair Commissioner
[email protected]

Tim Watters moved to Teton Valley with his wife and five children in 2004. Prior to moving to the Valley, Tim had a career in finance and as a small business owner. Tim is currently part owner of a wholesale native plant nursery that provides wetland plant material to restoration projects throughout the Intermountain West. Since moving to the Valley, Tim has been actively involved with local nonprofits having served as Board Chair of both the Teton Valley Community Foundation and the Teton Valley Community School and Treasurer of Friends of the Teton River Board. Tim is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys many of the activities found in this wonderful Valley.

Wade Kaufman, P&Z Commissioner
[email protected]

Wade has lived in the Valley his entire life with his extended family and personal family. Kristi and Wade have five children and two grandchildren and love spending time with family and the outdoors. He is a local business owner and volunteers on many local non profit and state boards. Wade believes that if you want things to remain the same or change then get involved, don't wait for someone else to step up. Wade has loved this valley and the mountains for many years and has grown to love and appreciate the quality of life this Valley has so freely given him and many others. He has been from the East to West Coast and many places in the middle and still believes that Teton Valley is a Gem that has a value that is worth standing up for.

Tyler Wertenbrunch, P&Z Commissioner
[email protected]

Tyler moved to the valley in fall of 2020 with his wife Ryan and their pup Sushi. Prior to moving to Teton Valley, Tyler managed the IT and Facilities Departments for a multi-discipline design firm and volunteered with an active transportation non profit for over 10 years. Taking a position in IT leadership with St. Johns Health created the opportunity for Tyler to move to the valley and bring him closer to accessing all of the outdoor activities he loves. Tyler feels that participating in this P&Z Commission provides the opportunity to give back to the community and be a part of why Teton County ID is such a wonderful place to call home.

James Weber, P&Z Commissioner
[email protected]

Born and raised in Idaho, James was drawn to Teton Valley for its rugged mountain landscapes and the friendly community that accompanies it. After studying Architecture at Montana St
ate University and Urban Ecology at University of Utah, James worked as a river guide in Central Idaho for over six years before getting his real estate licenses in Idaho, Wyoming, and California. James currently works as a Realtor for Teton Valley Realty, and when not in the office enjoys exploring the rivers, mountains, and wildlife that make the Greater Yellowstone region so special.
