How to File an Assessment Appeal
- STEP 1 -
Visit with the County Assessor to discuss your property value. Most discrepencies are resolved outside of and prior to the appeal process.

STEP 2 - After meeting with the Assessor's office and you still wish to appeal your property value, complete the form linked below and submit it along with your Assessment Notice and evidence to the County Commissioners' office on or before June 24, 2024. You will receive notice for your Board of Equalization (BOE) hearing. BOE Hearings will be completed no later than July 8, 2024.
The DEADLINE to appeal 2024 property values, is Monday, June 24, 2024 @ 5:00pm Mountain Time.
