PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

Planning and Zoning Commissioners members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners, with each member serving a 4-year term, and may be reappointed for a total of two terms. The Board seeks to appoint people with a variety of backgrounds and from several geographic locations from around the County when appointments are made. The Commission meets regulary the second Tuesday of the month, with meetings typically beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you are interested in a specific application, you may want to call the Planning Department to confirm an agenda time and meeting date.
