CIVIL DEFENSE / EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
This is an appointed, salaried position that works under direct supervision of the County Commissioners. Work with all agencies and surrounding jurisdictions to plan, exercise, train, and prepare for any possible hazard situation in order to maintain the life safety of all responders and citizens, as well as the stabilization of the incident and protection of property and the environment. Planning, training, exercising, coordination, and grant management are the primary missions of the position.
